Quarterdeck Chronicles Adventures on Sailing Around the World

Imagine sailing around the World with routes in the Caribbean, across the Mediterranean, plus sailing in the pirate and typhoon infested waters of the sometimes infamous Straits of Malacca. An adventurous and sometimes very risky business. These are the tales that Campbellford residents Paul and Sandra Johnston experienced in their round-the world travels on the High Seas. Sandra will be describing just a few of the many seaside stories at the Campbellford Library on this Tuesday the 24th of February from 6:30 to 7:30PM.

Here are a few photos taken at various exotic locales while on the trip:

  • Paul and Sandra on their sailboat Quarterdeck
  • Beach and Harbor on the Mediterranean
  • Camel at the Pyramids in Egypt
  • Fountain in Navona
  • Vatican Square
  • Full Moon Venice Vista
  • Trevi Fountain
  • Gecko on flower
  • Mr. and Mrs. Spotted Eel
  • Quarterdeck anchored at Phang Gna
  • 2 Curious Cats
Visit the Quarterdeck Chronicles website to find out more about the two Kindle books describing the Johnston’s adventures. Also enjoy the pictures on the website from the trip plus Sandra’s winning photos at a number of Northumberland Hills fairs. Sandra is an accomplished photographer and a member of the Hastings Photo Club. Also her blog provides insights on sailing, traveling and other recent activities.
