The Floral Charms of Boucherville

Blooms of Summer in Boucherville

Boucherville is on the Saint Lawrence River South Shore about 8 kilometers downstream from the Jacques Cartier Bridge and Downtown Montreal Harbour. The river helps moderate the temperatures in the summer which seems to make for some wonderful flower gardens. The Village features some glorious early summer blooms.

Scenes of Boucherville Homes

Steve & Johanne's

Steve and Johanne's place has an Olde English Cannon in the front yard and a wonderful wrap around porch perfect for relaxing in the summer. Like most of Boucherville's homes there are enchanting flower gardens surrounding the house.

The Church

The parish church, Sainte-Famille, is the center of activity on the weekends and during the school year. Church schooling brings back memories of grade school classes at St. Ambrose.

Stone Houses

Like the church, many of the older houses are built like stone forts - fortified to keep the heat in during long and harsh Montreal Winters.
